A quick thought wrt Chroma Cicuit: might be nice if there was some kind of visual indicator for mis-matches.. Towards the end of some of the levels I found myself scanning the entire screen looking for that one incorrect piece! Otherwise, great stuff!

Thanks for sharing! It's always interesting to see how other developers work (outside of a corporate environment).

With regards to version control and maintaining branches for different sponsors etc: I know it's on your list, but I really think you'll dig Git for this kind of workflow. Branching and merging is so cheap and easy that you might even consider keeping your prototyping under version control. Whenever you want to try something out, you just branch off and go wild. And working offline is a huge bonus.

Also, I've found Git to be much friendlier when it comes to refactoring than SVN. With SVN I somehow always managed to break my local working copy when I moved files/folders around.. Those little nested .svn folders drove me crazy!

I found gitcasts.com really helpful when I decided to get into Git. Also, I wrote a little (very basic) tutorial which might be useful:

Right, time for another round of Chroma-Circuit!

Cheers,
